Who you are

  • Data engineer/data analyst or comparable training, at least 5 years of professional experience.
  • Fluency in German and English, ideally German as native language.Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and relevant certifications as well as confident handling of relational databases (MS SQL Server) and ETL processes.
  • Very good knowledge of SQL, Bash/Shell and Python, as well as the creation and optimisation of complex database queries
  • Experience with tools such as Power QuickSight, Power BI or Tableau, as well as in the development and maintenance of data pipelines (dbt Labs, Talend).
  • Strong analytical skills, results-orientated approach, team-oriented, flexible and independent

  • Development of data- and AI-driven business models and products in collaboration with business units.
  • Development of powerful and scalable data models and definition of efficient data structures for analyses and reports.
  • Design and development of ETL/ELT pipelines and scalable data architectures in cloud environments (AWS).
  • Responsibility for operational DWH operation, ensuring data quality through automation, monitoring and optimisation.
  • Responsibility for centralised business reporting with Tableau and QuickSight, agile development of reports and dashboards.
  • Support of day-to-day operations with data, analyses and insights, identification of trends and patterns, development and training of ML models.
