The Commercial Analyst is a pivotal role within IPP UK&I, responsible for collecting data relating to commercial opportunities or activities to improve our overall performance. The primary duties include researching business processes, producing/presenting reports (with recommendations) to the company’s stakeholders and analysing the potential impact of the recommendations made. This role is key to managing the quote processes to ensure we are offer accurate pricing and adjustments. Identify trends/variations and reporting the impacts. In addition, a key focus of this role is the analysis of complex data using software such as Excel, Power Bi or Customer engagement software and delivering accurate forecasts/detailed reporting that can be easily understood.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a data entry, analysis and reporting role, with the ability to use your influencing & presentation skills in order to deliver this information in a concise and understandable format.
You will be proactive in your approach to data analysis through the use of business intelligence tools such as CRM, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel and inhouse platforms. You will be confident and competent in supporting the implementation of new processes and possess the ability to develop existing platforms with a view to understanding the sales function and assist in its growth.
You will be educated to A Level standard as a minimum and will have the ability to maintain accuracy and productivity in a fast paced environment with limited supervision.
