IPP Poolservice B.V. is part of the Faber Group. The Faber Group, an international family business with a history dating back to 1891, is a leading provider of sustainable, circular (mainly pallet) pooling services. It consists of several specialised pooling companies (IPP, PAKi, PRS and vPOOL) and a sustainable wood supplier (Satim) throughout Europe.

Who you are

Customer contact, taking care of business and administration is totally your thing! You are not afraid to proactively approach the various suppliers and - if necessary - remind them of the contract agreements. You like to keep an overview and work in a structured way. Administratively, you are very strong.

Where you come from or what experience you bring is less important; so whether you have gained experience as a Credit Controller, in customer service or in a totally different environment. What is important to us is that you are cut from the ''right cloth''.

We require a completed intermediate vocational education (e.g. MEAO). What we also find important is the right drive: you show commitment, work in a structured way, are willing to learn, show ownership and have a hands-on mentality. You like a dynamic environment where you are part of the whole process. Because you communicate clearly and calmly, both suppliers and colleagues know exactly what to expect from you. A good command of Dutch and English is therefore essential.

Vegetables, fruit, meat and other fresh produce from the supermarket in your kitchen, do you know what they have in common? They were probably transported with a CBL crate!

Did you know that until roughly 35 years ago, food distribution was done via one-way packaging?

Thankfully, this changed in 1990 with the creation of the CBL Fresh Crate Pool. These crates are used more than once and are therefore extremely sustainable! There are now around 28 million CBL crates in circulation which are owned by Stichting VersFust (SVF). On behalf of SVF, we from IPP Pool Service B.V. (Pool Service) are responsible for the national coordination of these CBL crates, whereby the collaboration with SVF is aimed at managing the national flow of CBL crates as sustainably and efficiently as possible.

As Contract Controller, you will rightly have a pivotal role in the operation!

Controlling 28,000,000 crates is quite a logistical challenge, to say the least.
As a Contract Controller at Pool Service, you are in daily contact with many different suppliers. When a retailer gets a new supplier, this new supplier has to deliver its products in CBL crates. So they come to you! You advise new customers on the number of crates to be purchased and draw up contracts. You register all new suppliers, changes and any terminations in the system. One of the important parts of this role is monitoring suppliers. They should report to us at agreed times the number of crates they have in use. You ensure that this is done on time and contact them by phone and e-mail if this is not done on time or is incomplete. You accurately register these contact moments in the system and adjust contracts where necessary on the basis of this information.

You do not do this alone. You work closely with one other colleague. The entire Pool Service organisation consists of 12 colleagues. If you fully master the role of Contract Controller, there is an opportunity to expand your work with validation activities. In this role, you will dive into the data to find out where balance differences come from. Within our dynamic organisation, it's never boring.
